Muvhango manager to appear in court for allegedly snubbing R3 million from the production

It is been reported that a Muvhango’s senior manager appeared in court for allegedly stealing R3 million from the productions pocket.

According to Sowetan, the undisclosed manager is facing charges of thefts and frauds after he created fictious service providers. It is alleged that that the manager pretended to be sending money to the services providers while the money went in to his account.

The case has been postponed to 17 October 2017 for plea and bail applications but the accused remains in custody. Muvhango recently celebrated the 20th anniversary on air, however the soapie will suffer a loss after Sindi Dlathu, who plays the role of Thandaza announced that she was leaving the cast after being with the production since it started.

“Muvhango has been more than a job to me, it has been my life for 20 years and I’ve loved and cherished every single moment of playing Thandaza. After 20 years I’ve decided to give the Thandaza character a break in order for me to grow as an artist, venture out to explore new opportunities and disocover what I can do as an actress and as a human being,” said Thandaza.

Her last seen on the soapie will be in March next year.
