Summertime is here, and some of us are either eyeing Diet plans to find one that will bring the best results or doing one right now as we speak. Diet plans are now very common and the numbers continue to rise as more people become aware of the importance of eating healthily in conjunction with the desire to look amazing and have the body they want!

Dieting is most certainly the ‘in’ thing which based on It is now the U.S. Weight Loss & Diet Control Market has reached over $60 Billion in sales, Globally up to 50 percent of women are on a diet at any given time, 90 percent of teenagers diet regularly, and up to 50 percent of younger kids have tried a diet at some point and on average Adults  will diet at least 4 times in a year.

There are more than 100 different diet plans on the market, Weight loss pills, Supplements, Teas and Breakfast cereals designed to help people attain their desired health goal with regards to their body. As we all know, with Diet plans, comes resolutions which obviously are needed to keep you on track, but guess what? The reality of it is that, nearly half of New Year’s resolutions are broken by February,  and without a game plan to achieve your resolution to lose weight, most probably it’s not going to happen!!
In case you are wondering, what you need to do so that you lose weight and keep it off this Summer, the key is simply in ‘Consistency’ or fully dedicating  yourself completely and  staying engaged  without distraction which is the most challenging part for all of us. Distractions  come in many forms, whether it is your financial budget, time, family problems, career and many others that easily take our focus off the goal of losing weight and cause us to become lazy or complacent.

To prevent distractions getting in your way, it is critical that before you start any Diet plan you ask yourself:
  • Can you keep your word to yourself and others that you will follow through?
  • Are you able to be reliable and responsible for all your choices, decisions and actions?
  • Does it involve taking small empowering habits that you can commit to everyday?
  • Will you have someone or something to be accountable to without excuses and complaints?
  • Will you be able to repeat the same actions (habits and rituals) over and over again?

If the answer is yes, then most definitely that Diet Plan is the one for you and will help you achieve your desired health goal in 2017!!

Remember, in life there are no short cuts and no matter how long it takes to achieve a goal, the fact that you started taking action is all that matters in the long run!!
