Nokia will make a comeback in early 2017 with Android Smartphones.

Nokia, a brand that is  reputed for making strong phones, will make a comeback on the smartphone market early 2017, the company has announced.

Nokia  was once the world's dominant cellphone maker but missed the shift to smartphones, particularly android,  and then chose Microsoft's unpopular Windows operating system for its "Lumia" range. They stopped making smartphones in 2014 after selling its handset structures to Microsoft to focus on mobile network equipment. Microsoft was selling Lumia smartphones under its own name but this year largely abandoned that business, too.

Arto Nummela, the leader of HMD Global led by Nokia, announced that they  want to launch their first Nokia smartphone in the early part of next year using Google's Android operating system. This is a major boost to Google Android as many mobile companies continue to partner with their operating system. Nummella added, "We want to be one of the key competitive players in the smartphone business".

Nokia will have to fight for its spot on the market with other mobile smartphone contenders with the likes of Huawei, Sony, Samsung, HTC and so on. However, wit its reputation from its previous phones, Nokia will really make a cut in 2017.
